About Us

Crop farming and dairy operation.  At first it was for helping raise 10 kids.    My uncle John took the most interest in farming and started a small dairy cow milk business.  My uncles Paul and Matt started a mink fur business in the early 1960's.  They grew that business to a size of over 5,000 mink.

My uncle Bob's son, Tom came to love the farm growing up and eventually took over much of the properties farming from the early 1970's to 2013 when he unfortunately passed away. 

It was in the early 1980's that I took the love of the farm to begin an interest in growing Christmas Trees.  After graduating from Penn State with an Engineering Degree, with the help of my uncles Martin, Paul and Bob I started the Bertovich Evergreen Christmas Tree business.
